YOU KNOW HOW I STARTED THIS EPISODE TALKING ABOUT HOW IN THE CHARIOT VIDEO WE STARTED RECORDING TOO LOUD AND THEN I LOWERED IT.

WELL I DID IT ON THIS EPISODE TOO, SO ENJOY THE FIRST ~10 MINUTES.

Also I feel weird cropping audio of a dub of a parody webcomic but here’s the video and I guess here’s the original artist because, according to Wealthyaardvark, “people became very internety about it” and she took it down, so thanks a lot internet??

Thanks for the advice(Calgary has 1.3 million people, by the way, so there’s plenty to do), but I just got let go(it was a seasonal job), so I’ll have to wait to implement it.

With regards to what you were saying about wanting compliments but also being awkward and uncomfortable about praise, I totally get that. What I’ve found makes me especially uncomfortable is when people REALLY like my work because I just don’t think even the stuff of mine I like is really that great. Like I enjoy when people are like “hey this is pretty good” but when people edge into “this is my favourite” or “this is an inspiration for me for my writing” I kind of feel like… are you sure you’ve read anything good, ever?

I guess maybe it’s sort of an imposter syndrome thing but it’s phenomenally weird to me when people are effusive about my stuff.
